Terms and Conditions

The conditions of purchase in the Dragonette Crochet shop.

Draft — this text is still being finalised.

1. Who I am

  • Name: (to be filled in)
  • Registration number: (to be filled in)
  • Tax number: (to be filled in)
  • Registered address: (to be filled in)
  • Email: hello@dragonettecrochet.com
  • Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA

I am a sole trader registered in Hungary; Hungarian consumer law applies to these terms.

2. What these terms cover

This document covers contracts made through dragonettecrochet.com. I sell two kinds of product:

  • physical goods — a hand-crocheted piece, sent by post,
  • digital goods — a downloadable PDF pattern or e-book.

Some rules differ between the two; where they do, I say so.

3. How the contract is made

Items shown in the shop are an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. Placing an order is your offer; the contract is made when I send the confirmation email, at the latest within 48 hours. If it does not arrive, you are no longer bound by your offer.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros on this side of the site and include tax. Shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm the order.

Payment is by card through Stripe. I never see or store your card details.

5. Delivery

Physical goods: the making time is stated on the product page. Items in stock are posted within 1–3 working days; for custom requests we agree the date in advance.

Digital goods: available to download as soon as payment clears, and the download link is emailed to you as well.

6. Right of withdrawal

Physical goods: as a consumer you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of receipt. Tell me by email. You return the item at your own cost; I refund the price within 14 days of receiving it back.

There is no right of withdrawal for a piece made to your specific request in a custom size or colour.

Digital goods: once the download has begun, the right of withdrawal ends — provided you expressly agreed to this before buying and acknowledged the consequence. I ask for this with a separate checkbox before payment.

7. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply under the Hungarian Civil Code. If an item is faulty you may ask for repair or replacement first; failing that, a price reduction or withdrawal.

Hand-made pieces vary naturally in size, shade and stitch appearance. This is not a fault but a property of handwork — every product description states the tolerance.

8. Complaints

Send complaints to hello@dragonettecrochet.com. I investigate and reply in writing within 30 days.

If we cannot agree, you may turn to the conciliation board competent for your place of residence, or start a consumer protection procedure. The EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/odr

9. Other

I may amend these terms; amendments take effect on publication and do not affect contracts already made. The date of the current version is at the top of this page.
